This smoker marries different cooking methods: traditional grilling on the grill surface directly above the glowing charcoal in the fire chamber and smoking meat in the smoke from a fire. This is made possible by the unique design of the device. In the smaller, deeper fire chamber, smoke develops when wood or wood chips burn or smolder. This smoke escapes sideways and enters the larger smoking chamber where the food is placed. The wood chips for smoking can be easily placed in the included tray. The smoke's path is aided by the chimney in the smoker.
Dimensions and Material
The smoking chamber size is approximately 103.8 cm x Ø 45.4 cm with 4 chrome-plated grill grates, each Ø 43 cm. It features a steel door with 2 locking clips, metal handle, and built-in thermometer. Additionally, it includes hanging hooks, a grease drip tray, and an adjustable chimney with air regulation.
Functionality and Design
The side fire chamber offers a grilling surface of about 41.2 x 38.8 cm with 2 enameled grill grates, each about 20.6 x 38.8 cm. It comes with a steel lid, adjustable air inlet, firebox, coal grate, capacity for up to 2 kg of charcoal, and an integrated cooking plate on the chamber's lid.
